Clean G&T

The Classic Gin & Tonic has a very fascinating history, it was originated  by a Scottish doctor, who discovered that quinine which is the active ingredient in tonic can be used to treat malaria. In the 1800’s British soldiers would drink Gin or any other available alcohol along with tonic to ward off the disease. Winston Churchill even said that "the gin and tonic drink saved more Englishmen lives, and minds, than all the doctors in the Empire". Later in the 1900’s, after lots of celebrity endorsement, the drink gained even more popularity and many began squeezing in lime for added health benefits.

This one is a relatively modern beast of a cocktail which was created in the 1980s by British bartender Dick Bradsell (what a legend). The name is inspired by the blackberry bush, known as “bramble” in Britain. Since it was designed, the Bramble Cooler has often become the go-to choice for cocktail connoisseurs.
