CleanCo set out to do things differently from day one. To create a drinking experience that emulates the one you know and love, simply without the alcohol. We’re firm believers that choosing a non-alcoholic option should never mean a compromise.

CleanCo was founded by TV personality, entrepreneur, and podcaster Spencer Matthews in 2019. Motivated by a personal journey to rebalance his relationship with alcohol, Spencer set out on a mission to create the best-tasting alcohol-free spirits in the world. 

From the very beginning Spencer was driven by a desire to make the days of being stuck at a bar with a boring water or sugary soda, a thing of the past. Not content with what was available, he made it his mission to develop genuine alternatives for those seeking an enjoyable and sophisticated drinking experience without alcohol.

Yes! Unlike other alcohol-free brands our drinks are designed specifically as 1-1 replacements to traditional spirits. So, if you like Gin, our Clean G is made to be enjoyed in just the same way. It’s the same with our alcohol-free Rhubarb Gin, Rum, Whiskey, Vodka and Tequila.  

And we think we’ve done a pretty good job of just that, with over 30 awards now under our belt. Not to mention, we’re officially the most 5-star rated alcohol-free spirit brand on Trustpilot.  

So, as they say, the proof is very much in the pudding... or in our case, the bottle!

We always recommend enjoying CleanCo just as you would full-strength spirits. We don’t recommend drinking CleanCo neat. Our spirits are made to be mixed with either your favourite mixer, or as an alcohol-free spirit base for a delicious cocktail recipe. 

When mixing our alcohol-free spirits, we recommend using a double shot (50ml/2oz) to have the full flavour experience without it being overpowered by the mixer. But it’s totally up to you!

Yes, all CleanCo spirits are completely alcohol-free (0.0% ABV). Our beverages are crafted to be a 1:1 replacement for traditional spirits, providing the same flavour you know and love, simply without the alcohol. 

Please note, CleanCo spirits were previously 0.4% ABV, this is technically non-alcoholic and is a similar alcohol content to a banana or fresh bread. Our new formulation which launched in October 2024 is 0.0% ABV which is officially alcohol-free.  

Striving to be more sustainable is core value at CleanCo. With our latest bottle evolution, we significantly reduced our environmental impact. Our new bottles use half the amount of glass compared to our previous packaging, cutting energy use and reducing our carbon footprint. Read more about our sustainability impact here.

Whilst our products are alcohol-free (0.0% ABV) and therefore offer a safe and delicious alternative for anyone looking to reduce or eliminate their alcohol intake, they are designed to mimic the taste and experience of full-strength spirits. This may have psychological impacts which aren’t supportive of specific recovery journeys. 

Yes! All CleanCo spirits are alcohol-free (0.0% ABV). 

We’re happy to say we have lots of fans who are pregnant or breastfeeding, but if you're seeking a second opinion, we'd always recommend talking to your health visitor, midwife or doctor. 

Yes! CleanCo is suitable for those on both a vegetarian and vegan diet.

Yes! CleanCo’s full range is gluten-free.

Unfortunately, as our manufacturers also produce alcoholic products on-site, we would not feel comfortable saying our drinks are suitable.

We strive to make our drinks as natural as possible. We proudly only use natural flavours, colours and sweeteners in all CleanCo spirits. 

CleanCo is a great option for those looking for a delicious low-calorie drink! All of our spirits are between 2-3 calories per single measure (25ml/1oz). 

Nope! CleanCo is proud to not only be sugar-free, but free from artificial sweeteners too.

Nope! The full CleanCo range is completely caffeine-free.

CleanCo drinks do not contain any of common allergens including nuts, dairy and fish. However, if you do have any allergies, we recommend checking out the full ingredients list which can be found listed online and on our packaging. 

No, you can’t get drunk on CleanCo. Our drinks are alcohol-free (0.0% ABV). They’re crafted to provide all the flavours and enjoyment of full-strength spirits, but without any of the negative effects of alcohol.

Whilst CleanCospirits are alcohol-free (0.0% ABV), we do look to replicate the taste and experience of full-strength spirits and therefore do not recommend CleanCo for under 18’s.

Yes! CleanCo can be used to partially substitute alcohol in cocktails that use multiple measures, resulting in a lower ABV drink overall.

Absolutely! CleanCo drinks are alcohol-free (0.0% ABV), so you can enjoy them without any concerns about driving. 

Wherever possible we strive to source ingredients with traceable and sustainable credentials. The vast majority of which are locally sourced to minimise our carbon footprint; however, we do have some speciality ingredients that are sourced from further afield.

CleanCo is proudly made in the UK. Our production facilities are based in Manchester whilst our Head Office team are based in London and New York. 

Our drinks are crafted by our master distiller who follows a meticulous 4-step process. We mirror the intricacies of full-strength alcohol production, whilst using alcohol-free ingredients and keeping the process as natural as possible.   

1. Analyse: We smell, taste and analyse traditional full-strength spirits, including flavour combinations, mouthfeel and ingredient interaction. 
2. Extract: We source the finest botanicals and natural ingredients before extracting their purest forms with a blend of cutting-edge technology and age-old craftsmanship. 
3. Blend & Distil: Our master distillers carefully blend these extracts and then distil the final liquid to infuse the flavours. 
4. Quality Check: Our liquids are then poured into beautiful glass bottles and tested to ensure they meet above industry-standard quality control benchmarks and are completely alcohol-free.

CleanCo drinks should be stored in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight. Once opened, they are best enjoyed within 3 months. We do not recommend freezing our products at as it will compromise the flavour.

CleanR is an alcohol-free Spiced Rum. It’s specifically crafted to replicate the flavour and mouth feel of full-strength Rum, so you can use it as a 1:1 replacement in your favourite cocktails. Experience a smooth blend of caramel, apricot and vanilla notes with a spicy and warming finish.

CleanG is an alcohol-free Gin. It’s specifically crafted to replicate the flavour and mouth feel of full-strength Gin, so you can use it as a 1:1 replacement in your favourite cocktails. Enjoy a refreshing mix of citrus, juniper and botanical notes with an herbaceous finish.

CleanT is an alcohol-free Tequila. It’s specifically crafted to replicate the flavour and mouth feel of full-strength Tequila, so you can use it as a 1:1 replacement in your favourite cocktails. Experience creamy agave, olive and melon notes with a peppery cooling finish.

CleanW is an alcohol-free Whiskey. It’s specifically crafted to replicate the flavour and mouth feel of full-strength Whiskey, so you can use it as a 1:1 replacement in your favourite cocktails. Relish bold oakwood, orange, and vanilla notes with a smooth and spicy finish.

Clean V is an alcohol-free Vodka. It’s specifically crafted to replicate the flavour and mouth feel of full-strength Vodka, so you can use it as a 1:1 replacement in your favourite cocktails. Enjoy our crisp wheat and rye spirit with a peppery and spicy finish.

We use as many natural ingredients as possible, as well as following a traditional small batch production process to ensure we can control the quality of our drinks. Therefore, it’s normal to see a slight variation between batches, whether that be in colour or translucency.  

However, our rigorous quality control measures ensure all our drinks meet above industry-standard benchmarks before they make it out the door and will always hit the mark when it comes to flavour.  

We use as many natural ingredients as possible, which on occasion can interact based on the conditions they are exposed to, including high temperatures and direct sunlight. Whilst this can cause sediment to form, it does not affect the safety, freshness or flavour of the product. We recommend keeping your bottles in a cool, dry place.

We offer standard delivery via EVRI within 3-5working days or next working day delivery if you order before 2pm Mon-Fri. Next day delivery is not currently available for weekend orders.

Unfortunately, we only have a small-time window to edit delivery addresses, but we will always do our best. Email our customer service team at hello@clean.co with the correct address as soon as you can, and we’ll see what we can do. We don’t, however, have the ability to edit billing addresses once an order has been placed.

We have a wide range of payment options, including all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shopify Pay, and Amazon Pay.

Unfortunately, we currently only accept single payment methods.

Our standard delivery window is 3-5 working days. We work closely with our delivery partners to ensure we meet this as often as possible.

If you opt for next working day delivery and place your order before 2pm Mon-Fri, it will be delivered on the following working day. If a next day delivery order is placed after 2pm, it will be delivered on the 2nd subsequent working day. Next day orders made over the weekend won't be sent out until Monday, for delivery on Tuesday.
